The silver lining to setting up a new venue during a global pandemic has been that we’ve been able to set everything up to increase our covid safety right from the beginning.
Here are the things we are doing to keep everyone in the building covid-safe:
Booked time slots. To help us manage numbers and expectations during Covid restrictions, pre-booking will initially be compulsory. You can book your ticket here. Walk-ins will only be permitted if maximum capacity has not yet been reached. We ask for your understanding if you are turned away for this reason.
Reduced capacity. Each time slot will have a maximum capacity which will be reduced to allow our visitors to maintain social distancing throughout the building.
Creating more space for social distancing. We have opened up an additional gallery and moved several of our exhibits into this gallery to allow more space between exhibits throughout the building.
Sanitising using Zoono. All exhibits and common touching points are sprayed with Zoono, which is a steriliser that Covid cannot survive on. It has been independently lab tested and authorised for use on all TfL’s trains buses and tubes.
Ventilation. We have invested in a comprehensive fresh air ventilation system throughout the building to continually refresh the air in the building and help keep us all as safe as possible.
Masks. Our team will wear masks and we kindly ask you to do the same throughout the building and for the duration of your visit.
